When I woke up at 5am I wasn't sure what the morning would bring. I set the alarm to go photograph at the #wedge in #Newportbeach. Most mornings lately have been overcast but as I went to let the dogs out to do there business I was pleasantly surprised that there were stars in the sky and I could actually see them. I was dressed and out the door in 15 minutes. I get to the shore early to enjoy the quiet and after taking in the calm I set up the tripod and camera. In the morning there is a fine line between to dark to get the shutter speed you want and to harsh of light. This perfect moment in time lasts 30-45 minutes.
